What this instrument does.

EXEGESIS has no accounts. It does not ask for a name, an email, or a login. Research objects are authored into the app; they are not your private notes.

Search happens in the browser against a local corpus and a read-only 42 Index snapshot. A copy of The 42 Index sitemap may be requested so sibling doors stay current. The query itself does not leave the browser. Nothing you type is sent to a research API by this app. If you hold an opening for later, that note stays on this device only (local storage). It is not an account and it is not sent to us. The host may keep ordinary web logs (IP, user agent, pages requested) as any public site does; this project does not add analytics, advertising, or a separate tracking pixel.

There is no database of readers. Held openings, if you choose to keep one, live only in this browser until you clear site data.

Outbound doors (The Constellation, LEXIS, CIPHER, The 42 Index, primary sources on other sites) are ordinary links. Those sites have their own practices.
